As a SOFTWARE ARCHITECT, your mission is to lead the technology strategy in our Internal Products domain, aligning it with business goals. The Internal Products area encompasses a suite of services designed to support various teams within Milrem. It includes the following domains: Developer Tooling, Data Management, Simulations, and Quality Assurance.
What you´ll be doing:
- Lead the technical strategy for a domain and design and development of complex software systems from concept to launch.
- Work closely with product managers, engineers, and business leaders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain technical roadmaps, technology stacks, and software architectures.
- Mentor and guide software engineers in their technical and professional development.
- Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for their adoption;
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the software engineering teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of projects.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies and incorporate them into the software engineering practice as appropriate.
What we’re looking for:
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including as an architect.
- Strong expertise in software architecture and design patterns and understanding of SDLC methodologies.
- Proficiency in programming languages like C++, Python, Java, etc.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills across all levels.
- Experience collaborating across teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively.
- Passion for technology and continuous learning.
- Higher degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Fluent in English.
