We’re looking for a SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER (POWER DISTRIBUTION) to join our team in developing advanced power distribution systems for unmanned ground vehicles and other complex defense applications. Your role will involve both high- and low-voltage distribution units, crucial for ensuring that our systems operate more effectively, safely, and reliably in harsh environments. By tackling exciting technical challenges, your work within the Power Distribution team will link all sub-systems together, supporting the overall functioning of our vehicles, innovating the field and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible.
What you would be doing:
- Developing power distribution systems for unmanned ground vehicles. From initial architecture and electrical schematics design to assembly and testing of prototypes, you will be driving these projects forward throughout the entire development cycle.
- Actively communicating with different stakeholders, including team members, customers, and suppliers, ensuring seamless collaboration throughout the development process.
- Ensuring that your solutions meet the industry standards, including military and automotive regulations, safety protocols, and other key requirements.
- Mentoring and guiding fellow engineers, reviewing designs and sharing your expertise.
- Keeping your skills sharp and your knowledge current by staying informed about the latest trends and advancements in the industry, driving continuous improvement in our innovative projects.
What we're looking for:
- At least 4 years of work experience as an Electrical Engineer, including designing power distribution systems, creating electrical and harness drawings.
- Experience working with high voltage DC systems.
- Previous experience with leading product development projects.
- Ideally familiarity with automotive industry standards as it helps you to ensure that your designs meet the necessary requirements.
- Proficiency in using relevant software, such as CADMATIC Electrical, EPLAN, etc.
- Higher education in engineering.
- Very good English skills (level B2).
