Your role
- Design of electrical hardware for cutting edge robotic systems
- Bridge the gap between sensor development, motor control and robot software architectures
- Participate in development on all stages, ranging from project planning and hardware design all the way to implementation
- Assemble mechatronic prototypes for robotic systems
- Evaluate the design by measurements and extensive testing in a professional lab
- Learn and excel in electronic hardware development on a unique technology stack enabling safe human robot interaction
Your experience & qualifications
- University degree in electrical engineering or similar Bachelor/Master/Diploma)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electronics hardware design, including schematic design and PCB layout
- Solid experience in the use of ECAD tools (preferably Altium Designer)
- Strong analytical skills and technical know-how, in at least 2 of the following areas:
- Power electronics
- BLDC drivers
- Communication interfaces such as SPI,UART, EtherCAT
- Sensor systems and analog/digital conversion, including routing of analog and digital signals
- Skills in soldering and assembly of electronics
- High personal standard of performance and drive for result
- Passion for developing innovative solutions as part of an interdisciplinary, cross-functional team
- Strong communication skills in English, German is optional
