DZYNE Technologies is building a highly skilled team that thrives in the design, development, test and manufacturing of intelligent, autonomous air vehicles. The candidate will have the opportunity to design and test a range of innovative propulsion system solutions that directly impact the success of our clients. You will have the opportunity to contribute to the planning, execution, and oversight of innovative projects to meet a wide array of customer goals.
Required Skills and Responsibilities:
- Experience with integrating and operating ICE engines in aircraft applications
- Troubleshoot various propulsion-related control systems and their components
- Support the design, analysis, testing, integration, manufacturing, and fielding of aircraft ICE propulsion systems
- Independently complete component, assembly, and system testing and analysis, document findings, communicate results, give technical presentations, and represent the organization as the prime propulsion technical contact
- Oversee and assist in the completion of program deliverables such as component and assembly designs, test plans and reports, analysis documentation, and other deliverables to meet program objectives, requirements, and schedule
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
- Experience with integrating and operating Rotax ICE engines in aircraft applications
- Experience with fuel system, engine cooling, oil systems, and performance monitoring.
- Experience related specifically to engine control systems
- Experience integrating alternator assemblies to powerplants
- Experience with reciprocating engines (Spark-ignition or Diesel) – their construction, theory of operation and control strategies
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree, master’s degree in engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution.
- At least 8 years of experience in an engine integration and engine control related field
Clearance Level Required:
US Citizenship Required, Security Clearance Not Required
Travel Required: Up to 20%

- Must have the ability to stoop, stand, climb, occasionally lift a minimum of 25 lbs.
- Regularly required to crouch and reach to install/move equipment by bending forward at the waist or by bending legs and spine
- Involves movement between departments, floors, and worksites to facilitate work.
- May be performing physical activities including, but not limited to, heavy lifting and moving of items, climbing in and out of equipment, crawling, and working outdoors.
Salary - $140K - $195K
Salary depends on relevant work experience, education, training, essential skills, and/or other factors such as specialized or high-demand professions. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible for an annual bonus. The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of salary or annual bonus.
