RedTail LiDAR Systems

RedTail LiDAR Systems is a division of 4D Tech Solutions, Inc. Designed specifically for use on small drones and UAVs, the RedTail Lidar System was developed with technology licensed from the U.S. Army Research Laboratory (ARL) and generates high-resolution, highly accurate 3D images of objects on the ground up to at an altitude of 400 feet. RedTail LiDAR incorporates an innovative microelectromechanical (MEMS) mirror-based laser scanner that rapidly and evenly distributes all laser pulses to the ground. The RTL system offers 400 line scans per second, a pulse repetition rate of 400,000 pulses per second, and an optimized scan angle of 40 degrees. The RedTail LiDAR system provides two scan modes, a line scan mode and a raster scan mode for stand and stare missions, offering unmatched operational flexibility. 4D Tech Solutions, Inc. is a Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned, HUBZone-certified small business.
